Application for a digital action certificate
What you need
- Being a natural person, not a legal entity (corporation, foundation, etc.)
- Citizen identity for logging into the Citizen Portal
- Databox connected to the Citizen Portal
How to do it
Log in to the Citizen Portal and search for "Application for a digital action certificate". A simple form will appear.
First, you select which person you are dealing with - i.e. whether you are a natural person, entrepreneur or a legal entity.
You then need to fill in the details of the request - the authority to whom you are addressing the request, the date you performed the act, the identifier - the address of the file or perhaps the reference number.
The last point is then 'Identification of the act to which the certificate relates'. This could be, for example, the Criminal Records Bureau. Then just click on "Send by data message".

In what format will I recieve the record
The requested certificate will be sent to your inbox in PDF format within 30 days.

Who will issue my digital certificate?

What information do I need to provide in order for the certificate to be issued?
If you send an application to the wrong office and do not give details of the action for which you want a certificate, you may not receive a certificate. The relevant authority with its data box where the request will be sent can be found in the search field of the form. You can also search for a specific action in the Civil Service, or provide any other information that may help the relevant authority locate your action.
Can the receipt of a data message be considered a certificate?
A certificate with the same effects shall also be understood to be a receipt from the data box information system.
