Firearms Authorization Statement
The Firearms Authorization Statement can also be obtained via the Citizen Portal. The printed version is for informational purposes only. According to the Act on Public Administration Information Systems, only electronic documents are considered extracts. If a legally valid extract in paper form is required, it is necessary to perform an authorized conversion.
However, this does not affect the possibility of using the extract to prove authorization under Section 146(b) of the Weapons and Ammunition Act. In this case, the extract may be presented in paper or electronic form (e.g., downloaded as a PDF file on a mobile phone) together with a valid identity document.
Is this service available in the app?
This service is not yet available on the mobile app. You can use it in the web version of the Citizen Portal.
What you need
- You must be a natural person, not a legal one (corporation, foundation, etc.)
- You need a Citizen Identity to log into the Citizen Portal
- You must have an authorization registered in the Central Firearms Register (CRZ)
How it works
On the Citizen Portal homepage, enter "Firearms Authorization Statement" in the search bar.
If you have a Firearms Authorization Statement registered in the CRZ, you will see a list of Firearms Authorization Statement variants. Namely:
Full Firearms Authorization Statement This statement contains all available data registered in the CRZ without the possibility of limiting the selection of this data.
Partial Firearms Authorization Statement You can select the parts to be included in the statement.
After selecting the variant, a statement of your data and the data held in the Central Firearms Register will be displayed to the appropriate extent. If the data is correct, click on "Download statement" and the document will be downloaded to your device free of charge.
Notifications at the end of the validity period
If you have enabled notifications in your settings, the Citizen Portal will send you one notification 90 days before the end of the validity period.
This applies to all types of authorizations: for firearms and ammunition authorizations, it notifies you of the expiration of your medical certificate, and for European Firearms Pass, it notifies you of its expiration. Notifications are not repeated and it is not possible to set only selected types of notifications. The aim is to reduce unnecessary SMS and e-mails. If the notification concerns a medical certificate, it is necessary to submit a new one that is not older than 90 days.
In case of incorrect data, please contact the Central Firearms Register HelpDesk at crz.verifikace@pcr.cz.
