Can I use my passport when travelling in the EU?

Yes. Just be sure to check its validity. Here we recommend you to set the expiration notification in the "Settings" section.

Can I apply for a new passport electronically?

No.

Will my passport expiration notifications be sent automatically?

If you have andatabox for individuals, you will automatically receive a notification 60 days before the expiry date in your databox. You can also set up the Citizen Portal to send automatic notifications to your phone number via SMS or email. You will also be notified when your document expires when you log in to the Citizen Portal.
