What are public registers?

The public registers are the Register of Foundations, the Register of Institutes, the Register of Associations of Unit Owners, the Commercial Register, and the Register of Publicly Beneficial Associations. The public register records the statutory information on legal and natural persons. The public registers are publicly and free of charge accessible.

What is the record good for?

The purpose of public registers is to allow you to access them and find information in them. They provide information on the establishment of the legal entity and the date of its dissolution and termination, the address of the registered office, the subject of business, information on the members of the bodies, and how the statutory body represents the legal entity. In the case of certain legal forms of legal persons, the facts recorded may also be necessary from within the legal person. You can thus get acquainted with the recorded data of the persons registered in the public registers.
