This service is available on the Citizen's Portal mobile app, so you can use it directly.
What you need
- Being a natural person, not a legal entity (corporation, foundation, etc.)
- Citizen identity for logging into the Citizen Portal
How to do it
On the homepage of the Citizen's Portal, type "Trade Register" into the search engine.
If you are listed in the register, you will see information by your Commercial registration number (IČ). Clicking on the Entity Listing button will open a page listing the information registered in the Trade Register.
Can I establish, suspend or terminate my business electronically?
Yes. You can electronically submit a trade declaration, application for a licence, notification of changes in data, establishments, suspension of trade, continuation of trade and application for termination of a trade licence on the Licensed Trades Portal (only in Czech).
I found a discrepancy in my details in the Trade Register. How should I proceed?
If you wish to make a complaint about data from the Trade Register, you can do so at the Licensed Trades Portal or at Data Complaint Help (only in Czech). In addition, a complaint can also be made in the Citizen's Portal by logging in via the Register of Persons Data Complaint.
Last but not least, you can contact the Trade Licensing Office directly, which has the authority and competence to make changes to this register.
Once the change has been successfully made, the updated name should appear in the Trade Register data.
I have a trade license. Was a databox established for me?
Yes. Since the beginning of 2023, the databox has been automatically established for all entrepreneurs (sole proprietors, self-employed persons, even with a suspended trade) and non-business legal entities (associations, foundations). At the beginning of 2023, these persons received their login data in their own hands by post or via databox. New entities are also sent the registration data at the beginning of 2023.
You can easily verify the establishment of a databox for your entity's IČ or other data through the freely available list of databoxes (only in Czech).
Information on the new features of the establishment of databoxes after 01.01.2023, as well as their use and settings, can be found clearly on the official databox website (only in Czech):

What type of databox is tied to my licence?
Databox of the type of an entrepreneurial natural person (PFO). This type of databox is primarily intended for the professional business purposes of a given ID (IČ). On the other hand, the databox of the natural person (FO) type is intended for handling your personal affairs. You can add both of these types of databoxes to your profile.
